I have a 1.1ghz T-bird, stock hsf, KT-7 raid, 256mb pc-150 cas 2 kingmax ram, geforce 2mx video, running win ME.
The system locks up on any speed over 1200 (max voltage is 1.85). If i set it up for anything over 108fsb I get a protection error consistently. PLease help.

Maybe you just have to accept it? ;)

There seems to be a rather steep limit on the T-bird's voltage-to-MHz scalability, in the sense that above a certain frequency raising the voltage doesn't do you too much good... just my personal opinion. My own T-bird 800 runs fine at 1007 MHz at 1.775 V, but I can't get it to boot completely at 1050 at all (even at 1.850 V). Also, to get it to run at 1020 I have to use the max voltage (that is, 1.850 V). So, I sacrifice a few MHz for lower temperature. The Abit KT7 RAID I have runs fine at 112-113 MHz with lower CPU speeds, too, so it's not the board...

Sincerely

Think you did OK at 1200. I can't boot at all with over 10.5x multiplier, and my RAM seems to limit me to 107-8MHz on the FSB.
