I was just curious if anyone knew how many copies of TBC Blizzard has shipped for release? If anyone has some numbers and/or sources it would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I need to make sure I get me a Collector's Edition...

I even took the day off work :p. Someone said, "I sure hope you have fun tomorrow." I just kind of looked at them funny, and sure "sure will!"

Yeah I figure there won't be enough copies for everyone, but was just wondering if there was an actual estimate of the number of copies at release (similar to Xbox360/PS3/Wii numbers).

god willing, my CE is in the mail. I pre-ordered it back in October when they first went on sale.

ebgames.com seems to be totally fubar'd, though, so I can't get tracking info or anything.

I'm surprised there isn't a digital download option, or an option through BT. Then Blizzard could just sell the keys and let the torrent network take care of getting the ISOs out. I suppose using some of the revenue from WoW for TBC download servers would be too much to ask for though. :p

Why wont they let you buy it online? Seems kinda funny to waste all that money on packaging.

Anywho, gonna see how hard my classes are this semester before I get back into WoW, have a 400 level statistics class and I am going to have to learn two programming languages that I have never used before this semester. Sounds like it is going to be just as fun as the Organic Chem 351 and Genetics 352 of last semester.

I feel your pain, by the time VG comes out, I'll be working and going to school full time. :frown:

It's a concession to retail outlets. I'd love to just buy it online and download it too

Anyone know if EBgames is opening at the normal 10AM time this morning? I want to pick up a copy before class so I can get home and jump right into it. I just logged on and the servers seem to be fine right now.

I picked up a copy this morning, EB had a whole bunch of them left at 10:30.
I had to laugh at the massive tower of PS3 boxes they had stacked in the middle of the store.

Just picked my pre-order up from BB. They had a huge display with at least 50 on the floor + however many might have been in the regular PC section.

Same here. They had plenty, and hats too.
