Did anyone else on here file for the first time homebuyer credit with the 2010 returns? Our accountant sent ours on April 10 (paper filing due to the tax credit) and as of now the IRS is saying they haven't received our return.
I called my accountant (who is kind of a dick and I'm not using him next year) and he said that at this point all claims for the credit are processed by hand and as such the IRS system can't tell what they have or don't have in-flow.
I wasn't going to argue with him, but I am wondering if anyone else has experience on this front?
