Do students get Social Security back when they file their returns?

I'm almost sure I did last year. If I dont get social security back, my return is much less.

You are never going to get any of your Social Security back. Us old farts are going to spend all of it in our retirement while you sweat out a meager existence.

That's right. Aren't you happy to be supporting other people?

Supporting other people is the way it was meant to be. I'm a dirty, bad, terrible young white male. Think of all those hard working welfare moms, all that labor for those 16 kids. I'm still upset I'm not paying reparitions to all those poor oppressed black people that have to pick cotton day in day out.

Get used to it. You will be paying taxes that support useless old people and welfare whores for the rest of your life.

No, Social Security is the non-refundable part of your income tax.
That is only partially true. In 2003, you can get back social security contributions for income in excess of $84,900.
