what state has THE LOWEST SALES TAXES ON PURCHASES? cause stupid NY has 8.25 and i am about to order expensive item dont want to pay 8.25 taxes if i shipped to my friend in another state it will be cheaper for me to pay shipping back to me than taxes

As far as I know there is no state sales tax in New Hampshire.

Oregon has no sales tax, but an income tax.

No state sales tax in Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, Oregon according to this page.

If you buy from a different state (like on-line) you don't have to pay tax.
