hey everyone, i know state tax laws are rather specific and such, but just wanted to see if anyone knew the answer to this:
I'm going to be living in NY next year but working in CT. I've been told that I will have to pay both NY city and state taxes (~9%) on top of CT state taxes (~5%). I thought I would only have to pay CT tax since that's where I'd be working. Does anyone know for sure what the case is in a situation like this?
While we're at it, anyone here do the NY to CT reverse commute via the metro-north train? is it that bad? thanks
