Okay, I have a question about my taxes.

I never filed for 2000-2001.. I moved and I never got my W2 form..

Looking at my last paystub, I only made $3987.11 in 2001. $489.90 was held for Federal, and $301.26 was withheld for state taxes. Since I didn't make a taxable ammount, I should be able to get this money back, right?

lol.. What do I need to do? Just call my former employer and ask them to send me my W2?

Thanks..

Yes, Yes and Yes.

Your former employer may have to send you a copy if the original did not get returned to them.

Big problem you will have is getting the 1040EZ form.
You may have to go to an IRS office to get one.

The same goes with your state tax form.

I called them, and they said they would send it out to me.

What do I have to do after I get it? Can I file online?

As you can tell, I've never filed taxes before. :p

Thanks for any help..

if you have the 1040EZ, you can telefile, i believe. Filing online is not free.
