Tax in Delaware?

yea there is no sales tax in Delaware but I think if you buy the car here and then register it in another state you will still be taxed in that other state.

oh and ActuaryTm its pretty sad you are from NY and don't know where Delaware is, since it is about 130miles away from NYC.

what if i buy a car from like PA get taxed, go register it in delAware i doubt they are gonna give me back the tax money i paid

I live in DE and should know this one. I've only bought a used car and I only recall paying for the tag fees and other DMV stuff...
 
hmm ok .. so it seems it is tax free.. but whats this bs about registering it in some state and then them charging you tax for the car? doesnt seem right
