Tax Filing Software?

I've used TurboTax in the past, but don't feel like paying for the update. Anyone have any experience with other programs?

Please post your tax question in the sticky tax thread in OT. A couple of our knowledgable members have volunteered to monitor this thread and help our members. This will also reduce the clutter of multiple tax threads in OT.

taxact.com Free federal taxes, and $7.95 e-file. Not sure about state taxes. I know you have the option, but I don't pay them
