That happened at the La-Z-Boy plant in Dayton. Union brought in a bunch of thugs who tried to intimidate the workers into voting for the union. Thugs got their asses whipped and run out of town.

Although, be careful what you wish for. Years later La-Z-Boy replaced all their highly paid per-piece production workers with low paid hourly illegals. Sometimes it's the union that drives away your job, and sometimes it's the union that protects your job.
