Tattoo people

First off that is too busy, what part of that do you want? Do you want the wings, pole and snake? With a competent tattooist, that should take around 1.5 hours if he goes into some good detail and cost around $200-250
 
Too busy, like too many color shades? Or, too much going on? It's my take on the caduceus and I figured if I could make the image a tattoo artist should be able to reproduce it to a similar state. I don't need it to match exactly, but pretty close would be nice.

EDIT: The "sample" is not part of the tattoo, lmao. Updated main post with new pic.
 
I agree that it's too busy for a shoulder tatt. I would possibly have the flag with kind of a shadow effect in the backgroud. Maybe make the letters not so bold. PBR is kicking in so my thinking is going out the door 😉
 
Ugh those thick black lines are going to be painful. With all the color blends expect the artist to take his time getting it right. Also expect it to take multiple sessions. I can't tell you for sure what the price would be, but a tattoo artist who's talented enough to pull it off acceptably isn't going to be cheap.

I have a much less "ambitious" tat on my left shoulder, but since I got it from a very good artist it costed $240 and took almost 2 hours to complete.
