I recently just hooked my computer to my 32 inch Samsung TV and the bottom right of the taskbar where the date and time is at keeps moving to the right at the time, date, and show desktop gets cut off.it seems that only the bottom right is moving. When I first log in is right where it needs to be, but the longer I'm on the more that gets cut off. I tried several things, changing the DPI, updating my video drivers, adjusting the screen position, all with no luck. when I log off and log back in it returns to normal. I'm using a DVI to HDMI connection. I I'm running Windows 7 and here is a picture:

Is your font size set at normal? Are you absolutely certain you're at the native res of your TV? Is your TV set to PC mode? I've seen some strange things happen when connecting a PC to a TV set in video mode.

You should be able to use PC Mode with HDMI. I have mine connected via a DVI-to-HDMI cable and have it set in PC mode, which makes it dot-for-dot rather than scaling it. What's probably happening is that your TV is trying to scale the image and is cutting off the edge of the screen. I tried mine in video mode, and it did some strange things to the image.

What model of TV do you have? It should have instructions in the manual of how to set up a PC connection. I'd follow those to a T and see if the same problem occurs.

Try changing the refresh rate on the video card settings. My projector can take 59Hz or 60Hz and 59Hz makes it slightly too large.
