This may sound like a stupid request, but...
In XP, as you know, you can "group similar taskbar items" so that all IE windows, etc stay together. Also, the collapse so that you have one button that pops up a list of all the windows you have open. While I like the grouping, I find the collapsing to be annoying, as I now have an extra click to get to the window I want. I work with UNIX terminal sessions all day, and sometimes I like to have certain things open in each session, and then I can go right to the one I want, but with the collapsing it's more difficult.
SO...my question is, is there any way (registry or otherwise) to keep the grouping, but eliminate the collapsing? That way the buttons would stay together but not go into one big menu? I've checked around but not come up with much. Thanks!
