taskbar icons

I was wondering, you know where the clock is for the small startup icons to be...well, i wanted to get rid of an icon, but i still want it to run. is that anyway possible?

If you're running Win98:
Click Run -> type msconfig -> select StartUp -> deselect the app.

also remember that i still want it to run! i just dont want the icon there.🙂

That's what the program will do. The icon won't load at startup, but you can manually start it, i.e., it removes the icon, not the program.

Yep. After you d/l Startup Contol Panel and run it, it'll appear in your Control Panel. Just go into Control Panel, click Startup Control Panel, uncheck the apps you don't want to show up on the taskbar, and they won't appear on the taskbar the next time you bootup. 🙂
