when you hit CTRL+ALT+DEL in XP, it brings up the task manager. that's fine, except it is run at normal priority. if the evil application you want to kill is high or realtime (like if you're flasking a DVD or rendering something) you run into the problem of task manager being very very slow. is there any way to raise its default priority to the highest possible?
also, in win2k, a ctrl+alt+del changed backto default resolution - it put you on a separate screen where you could log out/shutdown/etc. in XP, depending on the current resolutions/what crashed, it might be hard to see/reach the task manager (sometimes halflife crashes leave me at low res, with the task manager mostly offscreen). thats kinda annoying.
