Task Manager - gone

Suddenly, for no apparent reason, I've lost my Task Manager.

If I R.Click the Taskbar, a little green Icon appears momentarily on the System Tay and if I do Cntrl-Alt-Del, nothing happens at all

Does anyone know what might have happened and how I can get it back

Sorry - it's Win XP

Clean installation only five days ago - no software installed - only IomegaWare

Has been working perfectly well until today - just went to look at the Task Manager it and it wouldn't come up like it usually does -just a little icon on the Tray which disappears as soon as I try to touch it.

Peculiar?

It was in fact a Virus! - the KlexH Worm - have successfully removed it with Symantec's removal tool and Task Manager is back to normal

Now I know what might cause Task Manager to disappear!
