Task Manager gone goofy

Somehow my Task Manager (Win 2K Pro) has lost its tabs (performance and applications) - it appears only in processes mode with the performance monitor minimized on the desktop toolbar. The only way I can even close it is by right clicking the CPU usage icon and closing.

Too wierd from words - anyone ever had this? And how do I get it back?
