running win2k and want to know how to get rid of the items in the task bar by the clock.
In win 98 you could run msconfig and get rid of them but how do i do it in win2k?

The items are basically running programs ...

Check your program first and see if it has the option to remove start with windows option. , Then clean up your start up folders. If it still doesn't work, you need to tweak the run registry. PM me if you'd like to find out where the registry reside
