1. I've never seen one in action -- do you have to contact the dude with it in order for it to work, or does it sort of "shoot"?

2. what exactly does it do to the body?

3. does it have any long-term/repeated use health effects?

4. is it safe? I mean is there a small chance of it permanantly messing up or killing the person?

I was hit in the leg by one years ago, our bass player was a bouncer at night and brought it to band practice one day 🙁 He nailed all of us as we walked in the door.

I completely lost the ability to walk and fell to the ground. It hurt for a split second, but mainly it caused me to not be able to walk for a few minutes.

if you look at pic #3, the probes are in those cart... next time I take a guy down, Ill save it and send a pic.. they're $30 a shot with discount.. normally 45-60 bucks..

There was a COPS episode on last week or something where it was just Cops tasing people... it's was awesome. This one dude took a taser in the chest and managed to drive off. Most of em get tased and scream like little girls. I think there was one dude who got tased, and kept fighting back so they got him a couple more times.

Good tv. 😀

1. Two barbs/prongs shoot out attached to wires. They fire in opposite directions (one up one down) and stick into a person's skin and/or clothes. The Taser can also be used as a stun gun--contacting the "dude" with it (also called a drive-stun).

2. It locks up all the muscles in the body.

3. No.

4. The only people that have died after a situation involving the Taser have been those with pre-existing heart conditions and those high on cocaine.
