Anyway, new CMS work units for all operating systems will be released some time this weekend in addition to the remainder of the CMC work for Linux x64 machines. It would help us to speed up things (and generate even more CMS work) if the Linux x64 users could transiently disable the cmsearch application and focus on completion of the CMC packets.

At the time of this post, 1399 WUs remain to be crunched. Let's help them out a bit.

New work prepared
We are making good progress with the remaining CMC work units. The announced CMS WUs have already been prepared. It should be around 300,000 this time. Because the CMS WUs coming up will have significantly shorter deadlines than the remaining CMCs, I would like to once again ask Linux x64 users to make sure to disable the cmsearch application as long as their machines are still receiving CMCs. By doing so, you help to significantly speed-up the proejct as a whole and allow us to much earlier generate lots of new CMS work units for all machines. Thanks for your help! Michael. 20 Feb 2010

899 WUs remain.
