Edit April 22:Here is the new poll for the May-project! Please vote!

Edit April 22: Here are the stats as of April 22, 2007.

Edit April 15: Here are the stats as of April 15, 2007.

Edit April 8: Here are the DPAD stats as of April 8, 05:16 UTC.

Sorry for being late, TeAm Mates, but my ISP is down ... now for the second day. :(

The results of the poss is as follows:

11 votes for continueing DPAD
_2 votes for doing an other projects
13 votes total.

of the 13 members 10 also voted in the other poll and the results are:

5 votes for WCG (World Gommunity Grid)
2 votes for Rectilinear Numbers Crossing
2 votes for EON
1 vote for Leiden Classical
10 votes total.

Thus the result is clear: TAS will contiunue crunching DPAD during April.
In May a new project will start - and it will not be DPAD. It has never happend that TAS has done a project for 2½ months!

The other thread is now closed.

ROFL @ Peter & BMC.

Now that Liz has okayed the cruncher project, I'm getting eager to start on that. Just a few things we have to get first, namely move into our next place, and then buy a new mattress set. I'm figuring 6 months from now, we'll have something crunching.

C2D

:p

Typos?
What are you talking about? Have you not heard about the new Intel-processor? The double - 2 - Conroe - quads? I.e. 2 x 2 x 4 cores? = 16 cores in one package? All cores running @ 3.6 GHz! The FSB speed is 1 333 MHz ... and the on-die L2-cache is 64 MBytes.

That is the processor I am getting - the new D2C! On four mobos I get 64 cores --- I have to use peltier cooling to keep it cool (below 30 degrees C) but it is worth it :Q :D ;)

Wellll .... Clovertone is based on the C2D structure, that's true, but I've never read the name D2C for it, so, I'll just say you're making that one up :p

How does a new mattress aid in crunching?

If while using a mattress you hear crunching, something has gone horribly wrong.:D

Will try later! :)

So ya'll have a "TAS"... don't know what that stands for but it sounds a lot like BOINC Synergy's POTM (Project Of The Month). What's up for May? Any BOINC projects?

TAS = Team Anandtech Sentinels = a mini team that changes project every month.
You are welcome to check it out here!

We have not yet decided what it will be for May - we'll vote for the May-project the last week in April.
