Oh, Christian, who bumped you down a step on Germany's list of Rosetta@Home crunchers :( ? It must be a guy with a big farm, I assume ...
Well at least that person crunches for a good project ... :) Or is it your fiancée? (Would serve you right, though!) ;)

/OT: how did your seminar on DC go? /OT

Morphy375 of team Teddies passed me. He outproduces me by about 3,000 ppd so there was no way I could ever stay #1. He runs 26 PCs vs. my 5 --> not really a competition, more like an annihilation.

Actually, I was suprised it took so long. After all, I managed to stay#1 of Germany for about 3 weeks. But as you said, it's for the science.

My report about DC was perfect. Lots of open mouths and "I didn't have a clue about DC" comments. I pointed them to TA and BOINC. Let's see if somebody joins in.

3 weeks or not that was a cool distinction and you can be proud.

(I'm the #1 cruncher..... on my street... OK, well this block anyway ;) )

I have closed the poll for the December project. :light:
As expected: 12 members voted for the mini team race which now is the official TAS-project for December. :)

Now lets go and crunch and fold proteins! :D

Bump.

I have not had time to compile the seti@home - boinc stats. It will be done later.
I have to grade 286 exams (each exam has 8 - 9 typed pages. It has all to be done by December 1, 13:00 hours local time.
Life is a ... whatever ...when you teach at medical school. This is really the backside of having a "chair". ;)

OK folks, this is one of the last posts in this thread - November being almost over ... in part of the world only 6 h 10 minutes left. :(
I'll start the December thread soon - and it will be a lot about the Holiday Season Race - but I'll put the stats on that in a separate thread.

This thread is - BTW - the third monthly TAS-thread - so it is time to sum up the passed quarter ...
the September thread had 41 posts, and 251 reads,
the October thread had had 275 posts and 489 reads,
the November thread had (as of now) 108 posts and 397 reads.

As far as I know: zero flames, zero offensive posts and a lot of smileys, LOLs, ROFLs, and some ROTFLMAOs. :p

Why do we want to know this? I don't know, but once a stats maniac, always a stats maniac. And it is a lot of fun ... :D

Thanks TeAm-mates1
