Here are the stats for µFluids as of Sept. 9, 2006.

A summary:

The TAS' stats
Credits ________ RAC __________ Credits ________ RAC _____ Production
Sept 1 ________ Sept 1 ________ Sept 09 ______ Sept 09 _____ in Sept
160 885.63 __ 2 676.04 ______ 205 523.42 _____ 4 474.81 ___ 44 637.79

Comments:
12 TAS'ers are crunching as of now. After 9 days of crunching TAS has produced 44 637.79 cobblestones. The RAC has increased with 1 798.77 cobblestones, and is still rising. The RAC of TA is now the highest in the world.
A preliminary prognosis can be made today: TAS will probably crunch some 150 000 - 170 000 credits in this month. If OTOH the RAC increases, then of course the end result will be better ... Although TA producec twice as many credits as BOINC-Synergy we may not catch up with that team ...

As usual, most Awesome sTAtS, Peter!!

There is a subtle mini-race happening in TA Fluids right now. So subtle I just now noticed it. :D

Can my Pentium D 805 outcrunch Mikes Opty 165, RAC-wise?

Hmmm. ;)

My opty has only been running ufluids solo for about a week now.
It's running stock , no overclock on it if you're wondering.
I'm Jim ,bty ,Mike is the other wolf in the RA.
You're kicking my butt right now but I do have a little help on the way.

D'oh. Hi Jim, I'm Jim. :)

The D 805 has only been back solo for a week as well. But it is certainly not stock-clocked. Oh no. Not close.

Please don't ask me what my FX-55 cost me. ;)

cheers,

-jim

edit: I welcome a RA onslaught. My resources are max-pinned to uFluids right now, so bring it.

None of the rest of the RA. All of their machines are on Rosey
Only my machines are on ufluids and just the home ones at that.

As soon as WUs become available again, I'll suspend all my other projects and rund µFluids at 100%. On my PCs of course. There is no app for Macs ... :( If it were I could add 8 cores. :)

Even though the uFluids page doesn't show it, I'm starting to get some new WU's. And they're a new type:

9/9/2006 2:38:52 PM|uFluids|Finished download of file const_10.fe
9/9/2006 2:38:52 PM|uFluids|Finished download of file const_11.fe
9/9/2006 2:38:54 PM|uFluids|Finished download of file const_12.fe
9/9/2006 3:30:29 PM|uFluids|Finished download of file const_105.fe

-jim

Peter, enjoy the math on this one:

I guess next time I'll wait with crunching a project till TAS joins it, so I can also get some high number in the "raised in rank" section of your stats, Peter! ;)

Yeah, the last one to join starts at the lowest rank (especially if some 6 - 8 members joined before and then - he or she rises fast ... ;)

They're the WU's titled const_n_n that are ending up as pending. Once you crunch some of those, you'll see it unless they change something. I have several now, and more on the way...

-jim

p.s... I'm |-| close to passing your opty 165......

I got a few const WUs and upped my cache to 5 days. I just noticed that they started putting out upbend WUs with quorum 4(Edit:^h3, and initial replication 4). There goes my optimized client advantage. :(

But I've still got 69 quorum-1 WUs left. :)

Since the initial replication is above the quorum, this becomes a little like TANPAKU. If you have a machine that returns really low claimed credit, the rest of us would appreciate it if you could give it a large (several days) cache.

Here are the stats for µFluids as of Sept. 14!

A summary:

TAS-members who have joined since the last stats update: Welcome kb3edk and Tom Philippart

TAS' stats
__ Credits ___ RAC _______ Credits ______ RAC _____ Production
__ Sept 1 ___ Sept 1 _____ Sept 14 _____Sept 14 _____ in Sept
96 524.84 __ 2 469.34 __ 185 737.70 __ 6 249.02 ____ 89 212.86

Comments:
1. 14 TAS'ers are crunching as of now.
2. After 13.5 days of crunching TAS has produced 89 212.86 cobblestones. The RAC has increased with 3 779.68 cobblestones (+ 153,1 %),
3. Again a preliminary prognosis can be made today: TAS will probably crunch some 190 000 - 200 000 credits in this month. If OTOH the RAC continues to increase, then of course the end result will be better ... Although TA produces more than three times as many credits as BOINC-Synergy we may not catch up with that team ...
4. If we wanted to catch up we would need to get some 314 300 credits during the coming 16 days of crunching which is approximately 19 050 credits/day.
During the last two days TA has produced some 13 000 credits/day, so we would need to increase production by some 6 500 credits more.
5. TAS'production (and thus the RAC) still rising. The RAC of TA is now the highest in the world. There is sometimes a lack of WUs and it is therefore wise to have a secondary project, and TAS:ers have voted for TANPAKU (which was second in the poll).

Many thy for the stats Peter!

With the newy introduced quorum for µfluids, I strongly assume that our production will suffer a big hit. I checked my results for the last two days, and I already have 1000 creds pending, but I'll probably only get seom 400 granted, if the go along with the other quorum WUs.

Looks like µfluids isn't the credit machine anymore it used to be! :(:)

Hey, guys, the project leader says here that he will switch back to Quorum-1 WUs for a short time. I haven't seen any yet, but when they get here you people with optimized clients might want to stock up.

I've been meaning to say, thanks for the stats, Peter! :)

And I've got something to add to them, too. I've been watching high producers' results, to see if any Quorum-1 WUs come through. None have yet, but I noticed something interesting when I sorted for the highest RAC:

#1 in the World: caferace RAC: 2,810.24
#2 in the World: Rebel Alliance RAC: 2,083.94

So congrats to Jim and all the RA people!:)

Thanks Ken! It's not often I'm on the top of the box, so I'm enjoying it. :D

And "all the RA people" is just Jim so far. So a pair of TA Jim's are us. ;)
