Subject mouse is totally suck in XP when connected to a laptop's PS/2 port. It is crazy and can corrupt a setup easily. It does work in the USB slot, but if you rty and run the drivers disk in XP, it will isnatll, but you can lose all your setup. It happened to me twice.
My conclusion is that the Targus Scrolling Optical Min-Mouse's software is not XP compatible, and in fact dangerous when used in the PS/2 port.
I have two of these suckers on the shelf. Anybody want one? I ordered a PS/2 version of Atek's REALLY mini-mouse. 🙂 It is advertised as XP compatible.
