If you got in on one of the cheap laptops on Black Friday, then you might be in the market for this:
Targus Notebook Mobile Essentials Starter Kit.

Includes retractable laser mouse, numeric keypad, 4 port USB 2.0 hub, and 2 surge protectors. Was $49.99 now $19.99 after $20 easy rebate.

Staples 11/26-12/02

SKU 635525

Sorry. Maybe someone else can fix it.
If you search for "Targus Notebook Mobile" or 635525 it comes up. Page 5 of their circular.

?? Not such a hot deal in my area.

$49.98 Regular Price
- $10.00 Less Instant Savings
$39.98 Your Final Cost

There are more rebates if you bundle it with something else though, but doesn't bring the price close to $20.

Definately a good deal for those who aren't sure, I only use Targus accessories for my laptop and have never had a problem. I already own the keypad and it comes in handy for my financing and accounting classes, check to see if the one in the bundle comes with the 2 USB ports on the top of it, if so it's definately worth it since I paid $12 for the keypad alone.

Could anyone tell me why I need to have that numeric keypad?
I always saw it but I don't know why I need it.

If you use the numpad a lot (i.e. accounting, school, math, etc...) you'll notice how much of a pain it is to switch to a laptop keyboard without it. If you haven't found yourself saying "Damn I wish this keyboard had the numpad!" then you probably won't benefit much from it... if you do a lot of number crunching and are used to using it then it's a welcomed addition.
