Try office Max, they will price match it. But of course that might be B&M only though.

Went to BB online to check it out, sold out in my store, but available for pickup in town right next door. Should be great for an upcoming trip!

I bought it online for in store pickup on Sunday. I get to the store and they said the item was not picked? Whatever that means. Bottom line they said they didn't have any in stock. I was pissed!!! Why would it have let me order if there was none in the store? I talked to a salesperson on the floor prior to going for the order pickup. I didn't see any on the floor, but the guy checked the computer and said there should be 5 in stock. It was he that told me to go to order pickup and they will find it for me. I wait there for 20 minutes because they only has 1 person working customer service (on a Sunday mind you!!!), she checks my order and says sorry there are none in stock. I tell her the salesperson told me there were 5. She calls the back stockroom and 15 minutes later some guy walks out carrying one of the Targus backpacks. She tells me they were hidden in the back (my guess is an employee hid them as they were wanting them for that price + their employee discount.) Nice bag but again, what an ordeal.

I picked one up too, and the build quality is top-notch. Out of all the back-to-school sales, the cheapest Jansport is $25, and the quality is pretty sad: thin materials, thin zippers, no laptop padding, no extra compartments. Jansports start getting decent around the $60 price point, and you might find them 30% off on sale, but still not as good as a Targus or Swissgear at the same price.

Write (not email) customer relastions at Best Buy with a clear letter explaining all the factual details (and keep the editorial comment to a minimum, along the lines of a statement that this experience strongly discourages you from using BB online ever again). Maybe they will throw you a coupon or something in response.

Suggestion: people in your area might find it helpful if you specify the store that did this (city, location).

Agreed. Me for about 2.5 years. It's held up great, used it at 3 different places I've worked at. Gone through god knows how many airports. Grad school. Still no wear and tear on it...it's held up like a champ. :) Plenty of room/pockets for stuff - CAT5 cables, CD's, etc etc. For $8 it's a steal...bought mine for $30.
