Here is a Targus backpack for Laptop, decent and ordered last week and receive it today, pretty nice
when I ordered it, it is liked 23.5 + 10% coupon, seems they have a price drop on it

now is 19.99 and i believe it is not a geeks special. so 10% coupon apply,

I recently got the sport version of this backpack. Great backpack and an excellent way to carry around your lappy. I'm sure this version is just as good.

IMHO, I prefer the Sport versions of any laptop backpack.....recently got from ebags.com the eastpack red (no longer avail) for $22 shipped.....

I like the sport version because it doesn't look like a laptop backpack, and in an airport I'm a little less worried about it getting lifted from me.....just a little.

My $.02

I bought an earlier version of this backpack a few years ago... okay, actually about 7 years ago. Assuming they haven't changed anything too drastic like the material they use this thing should hold up forever. Even though I eventually had to get rid of my laptop (it was a Digital, a company you probably don't remember and for a good reason) I still use the thing. I'd say this thing is a good deal.

Is there much clearance beyond the Max Notebook size? I've been looking for one of these for awhile, but it's hard to find one that will fit my Gateway 600 - a real monster at 13.86?(W) x 11.44?(D) x 1.77?(H). Of course, that's why I want a backpack in the first place; at 9lbs plus gear, a shoulder bag can get pretty heavy after awhile.

I got mine today, and they shipped a Targus Rakgear kickflip backpack instead... not a notebook one..
Did anyone else have this problem?

Got mine yesterday and it's as advertised, a CBT600. It fits my Dell Latitude C840 (with it's monstrous 15" LCD) just fine. Perfect fit you might even say. Only thing I don't like about it is the straps aren't as well padded as I'd have liked them to be. Other than that it replaces the shoulder bag I got from Dell very nicely.

I remember that company, in fact I think my uncle worked for it once. What was so bad about them? 😛
