Target furniture rant

So I was pleasantly surprised when my night stand came soon then expect and I quickly went to work on it. As I was putting it together I was constantly thinking, "Hmm the edges don't match up just right or these seems a little shaky" but at the same time I knew that it will probably be ok once the whole night stand is put together. Well it turns out I was wrong. The night stand is very shaky and even worse then that you can see where some of the unfinished edges are. This piece is by no means going to be passed down to future generations but hey it was $75 and I think damn near $100 after shipping.

Cliffs:

Don't buy target furniture its overpriced and crap

No cussing, no signs of anger of frustration. No pics of anything to make up for it.

0/10.

I could care less about your rating I was posting this in hopes others wouldn't make the same mistake.

I disagree, as if it were supposed to be an informative post, you wouldn't have called it a rant.

Buying "furniture" from a department store is always a bad idea. It's nothing but pot lumber from a Chinese boat.

I'm fortunate here to live among the Amish, furniture is never a problem.

I've actually had pretty good experiences with target furniture. A couple bookshelves, and a great little wine rack/bar.

edit: Actually I think my wife bought our TV stand from Target too, and it looks amazing. this one. That price is crazy though, we definitely did NOT pay $300 for it. I think it was $150 on sale. It's awesome. Solid and looks pretty.

I got a cheap bookcase for college from Target. $25, easy to assemble, decently sturdy, and everything fit precisely.

0/10 for rant consistency across sample size
