Target Clearance

I just purchase one of these MadCatz PS2 starter kits B&M at a Target in Maryland for ~$7. I've been to three other Targets and none had these. Target.com has them, but they are priced at $29.99.....what gives? Also there doesn't seem to be any consistancy in what is clearance from one store to another.

Almost all Target Clearances differ store to store. Very rarely does a single item go clearance at every store. It really depends on the stock that the store has. For example, my local Target had the same package for Gamecube and Xbox, but never for PS2 for $7.48 (which is 75% off).

Edit: If you intend this to be a "Hot Deal" you should at least change the title to something more specific than "Target Clearance"

VTHodge has it right that the Targets vary from city to city and even store to store on clearance items and the scheduling of the markdowns. This kit was marked down to the $7 in Tallahassee around 3/15. I noticed that the non-kit Mad Catz controllers were now being marked down (again - see the linked thread) here and are at 30% off.
