Tappan Oven Locked

Here's a new one. I have a Tappan oven and I accidentally put it in clean mode and turned it off. Well, the oven is stuck in lock mode and I'm wondering how I can reset it?
 
If it's anything like my jenn-air, put the temperature dial to "clean" while leaving the bake/convect/broil dial on off, then try to unlock it.
 
I used to have a Tappan, self cleaning gas range. I seem to remember reading something about that in it's manual. If you don't have one, you could ask for one here. Apparently, Frigidaire purchased Tappan.

 
It should open correctly after it cools to a certain temp, it's a safety feature. Don't force it (er, like I did 😱) or you'll mess the lever up.
 
It's a joke. I've never let an oven "clean itself" in the 25 years I've owned one. We only end up with self cleaning ones, because all the features we want, automatically include that.
