I've only had the mx1000 for about two weeks and I see the feet are already being affected by daily use. Mousepad is the Func 1030.

I remember buying a pack of round tape that were meant for the feet of the mouse but I don't remember who made them or where I got them. Anyone know where I can buy some?

Would that work well on a func 1030 mouse pad? I like the fact that you can buy feet sized for the mx 1000.

I have had an MX510 for about a year now. The mouse pad I use is Func 1030 as well. I don't see any wear. I thought by the time the feet start showing signs of wear, it will be time for me to upgrade the mouse. So, I never bothered with these kinds of feet.

I am surprised that you see wear this fast!

you can get them from newegg i recommend getting the actuall feet instead of the tape its kind of annoying having to cut them out and i find most of them are bad. I need to get some more tape soon since my mouse feet are gone :(

Is that the 80.00 laser cordless mouse?
You 'd think for that price they could make a better footie?

I got it as an upgrade when my mx700 broke - cost me about $48 for the keyboard/mouse combo.

I'll have to get a camera to show you what I'm seeing. I've only used it for a couple of weeks so I can only imagine that it will get worse

w00t: I actually have used teflon tape with my old mx700. Went through the same thing with having to cut the tape with a razor but the links mentioned in this thread actually have ones sized to the feet so no cutting :). Just not sure what mouse the thinkgeek ones are meant for.

Actually, after a week of using my MX700, I decided to replace the feet because they just don't feel right. With the Slick Surf feet, it feels glidy and slick!
