I mainly use Tapatalk for AT so I can't really comment on other forums.

I don't remember getting an unquotable post.

I meant one of those posts where it quotes the wrong person.

I'd like to check the post IDs of the two posts (the post that was supposed to be quoted and the one that was).

The tapatalk app isn't perfect. It is finicky at times and the HD one moreso. It's not BAD, but I wouldn't call this production-ready software.

I had none of those issues either on my old S II or my new Note 2.

That said i have had the app crash a few times and witnessed a few memory leaks where it just kept eating ram till it ran out then crashed.

So the poster above who stated its not production ready software hit the nail on the head with that statement.

No issues here. Only complaint is quotes don't say who it's quoting.

Taptalk HD isn't any better, often it is unresponsive when you switch back to it from multitasking and you have to kill it off and reopen it. It also suffers from the random quote issue and will occasionally mark all threads as read for no apparent reason.
I get this very often.
The trick is you have to press the "Back" button when things become unresponsive. That will automatically take you all the way back to the Tapatalk main page with all the forums listed, and you click Anandtech again and it works! VIOLA!

No need to kill it or force close the app.
This happens to me on both the regular and HD app.

My issues with Tapatalk:
1.) Already described above.
2.) Some pics don't load.
3.) It never tells me who I'm quoting, but I've also never had any problems with it quoting the wrong person that I can remember.

No more FCs.

I do occasionally get a wrong quote, which is annoying
