Tanning does make some people more attractive. But only because a little sun is good for you. It's proven to reduce acne... But yes, those who insist on living in a tanning bed look gross....especially the overweight ones that do it becuase they're too lazy to make themselves look more attractive by other means, like dropping the twinkie.

My wife had cancer at 27, thyroid and not skin, but cancer nonetheless. I discourage her from tanning, she's beautiful without it. If she wants to go I can't stop her, but I ask her not to.

As for women... Yeah, mostly agree. Some tanning, usually the natural kind from getting a little sun, though, is good.

Ive tanned a few times to avoid getting burned my first time out each surfing season. The only ones that you see orange (that i've noticed) are the ones you can really tell go like 4days per week

Yeah, but it doesn't mean everyone that is trying to tan is doing via tanning bed. I'm willing to bet they're using cheap self-tanner from Target. If you use a GOOD lotion and a proper tanning bed, you'll get brown not orange. I'm very pale and when I went last year I was brown by the end of the month not orange.

Wife's aunt died 4 years ago at the ripe old age of 45 after tanning heavily since she was a teenager. She didn't die of skin cancer but I'll tell you what in her coffin you wouldn't have guessed she was a day under 72.

Some parents are idiots. When she gets cancer at 25 they'll be bawling and blaming the whole world, when it was their moronic decision.

Parents are supposed to be parents. They are supposed to look out for their kids and do what is best for them, not let them run around like spoiled valley girls. Her opinion of "I just like...like it" is only set by what the mainstream media has told her. If they said she should color her hair orange she'd probably do it but still say she actually likes it and thats the only reason why she does it.

Are you f'n retarded? That's the kind of stuff they believed over 30 years ago. Do a google search and look at any of the results. At best, tanning can reduce the appearance of acne because it can help hide the redness.
