I just bought a minute package at a tanning salon, and the guy said i should look into buying some tanning cream (or was it lotion?) in order to speed up the effects. Keep in mind that this is NOT sun-block, which actually reduces effects. Anyone know what he's talking about? He said this stuff ranges from $4-100, so i should do my homework.

have you ever thought about "how" it will accelerate it? Well, I will tell you. Orange dye. These extremely orange people you see, use it. Are you a guy? Guys shouldn't fake tan anyway, its not right. When I see orange, fake tanned guys, I wonder if they are going to hit on me.

Just a thought.

Put on some sunblock and go outside. The sun is so strong these days it won't take you long to get a tan if you have fair skin. I put on SPF 45 and still get a tan- and I only spend about an hour or so in the sun every day.

He's not talking about sunless tanning creams, he's talking about tan accelerators.

I used one that someone left in the bed before I went tanning (in the room that is) and it made my skin BURN in the bed, felt like it was bubbling and when I left it looked sooooo burnt where I put it on. Couple hours later though it did turn in to a dark tan so I guess it worked. That was probably one of the $4 ones though cause that sucked.
