Tangy Taffy?

I used to always eat tangy taffy like 10 years ago, and now i tried to find it, but all the stores have is laffy taffy. What happened to Tangy Taffy? you guys remember it?
 
yeah, it would have multiple flavors together, and some of them would have all these big sugar crystals on top. OMG it was good.
 
Desteffy, I know! For fourty years my #1, FAVORITE candy has been tangy taffy (cherry). Now, no one carries it retail! I HATE Laffy Taffy. No substitute.

I find outlets who say they carry the Tangy Taffy, but have seen that some are discontinued. That leads me to believe that we need to contact the manufacturer to give them public input. I would cry if they discontinued!

I bought a case of Cherry from Amazon a couple of months ago. It says "Laffy", but it still comes up on the "Tangy Taffy" search and it tastes like the right stuff.

Yeh. That stuff was awesome. Probably have a couple cavities in my mouth from that stuff alone. 🙂

We'd freeze it and the whack our taffy against the counter and shatter it into little bite size pieces.
 
You can still get the cherry one. It's the same size bar but says Laffy Taffy even though it's still the tart flavored "Tangy Taffy" of old.
