I have an LCD assembly for a laptop that I plan on putting up on eBay. I have not been able to test it to make sure it was good -- but when I bought it I was told it was good.

Anyway I don't need the part.. and I didn't want to say its "as is" b/c the item will be less likely to sell. However, I don't want someone to switch out the LCD with a bad one when they buy it and say mine was bad.

Is there an easy way to make sure I don't get screwed over? Would it just be easier to just sell "as is"?

I have an inverter for a dell laptop that I purchased as working but never could test it. I'll probably just put it up there and tell them the truth and cut my losses.

I would personally list the item "as is"; BTW welcome to the OT forums kh4130 :p
