TAMPA AREA! -- I'm new to Tampa, are there any fireworks on the beach?

I'd like to stay in the Tampa/Clearwater/St. Pete area. Are there any fireworks at night, on the beach? I want to take my girl there

You need to be more specific on where you will be as there is more than one place setting off fireworks. You could also look in the newspaper and see if they have a listing.

Most beaches in St Pete/Clearwater are municipalities and have their own fireworks displays. Madeira and Treasure Island usually do. Just be prepared for the hellish traffic on Gulf Blvd.
