Tallgeese and Garion for Elite (Networking Forum)

ScottMac

Moderator
Networking
Elite member
Mods: Please consider these two for Elite. Both are well-seasoned pros that have contributed significantly to the content of the Networking Forum.

Please check 'em out, I'm sure you'll agree.

Thanks, and Best of the New Year to y'all.

Scott

These guys definitely deserve elite! They (among the other elite users in Networking Forum) are a couple of the reasons I spend any time in there. I may not be able to answer the questions, but chances are these two can and Ill learn something by reading the posts.

Cast yet another vote for both. I have learned more "practical use knowledge" from these forums than anywhere else. 😀

Those two definitely deserve Elite!!! The knowledge base of the gurus in the networking forum is much appreciated and making them Elite is a good way to show our appreciation for their dedication to the forums.

very helpful and way knowledgible. Those two really symbolize what elite is all about. They're on every day and every post they make is to help someone out.

I agree. These guys are great. They are very knowledgeable, have an arsenal of links offering more information, and best of all, when they disagree with someone, they are courteous. Something many could learn on this forum.

they deserve elite hands down

they're just too knowledgable and kind to not get elite. "elite" status is such a small way to show appreciation to their contributions 🙂

Yup, Elite for both. Directly and indirectly they've helped me alone innumerable times, and they are very helpful to others. Frankly, I believe NETWORKING to be the best forum at AnandTech, due in no small part to their efforts.

My 2¢.

They both get my vote too. Garion is always helpful and knowledgeable as is Tallgeese. Tallgeese has also started some very informative discussions about WAN and LAN technologies and concepts.

<< elite" status is such a small way to show appreciation to their contributions >>

It is a small gesture. I think the fact that you guys are nominating them for it speaks volumes for them and is a gesture on a much grander scale.

You can add my "vote" for them both. They both bring valuable experience to the network forum.

Doug

the networking forum is small and tends to get overlooked. These guys give some quality help to us Noobs. Give em' elite!

So how about it Mods? Hook these guys up for keeping our networks working enough for us to be able to visit Anandtech 🙂

the mods do take their time... but that's alright... I totally support Garion though.... he is ultra helpful and he REALLY knows his stuff.... and if ScottMac says Tallgeese... well then that guy must deserve it (i'm sorry but I haven't had too much experience with his posts)

not to thread crap... but the mods should also consider L3guy for elite... he's another person that knows his stuff... and is always helpful.

One last bump, I promise.

Mods: please take a look at the quality of the assistance offered by Garion & TallGeese (and L3Guy, for that matter), these guys are top-notch, helpful, um, "not too grumpy" ...and deserve the Elite title. They've helped pretty much everyone on the Networking forum at one time or another, and stay with the thread until resolved or abandoned by the poster. Both work in the Corporate Trenches and have "real world" networking skills...practical, hands-on, valuable information that they willingly share.

They are truely deserving of the honor bestowed by title.

One more time.... please take a look, they are absolutely an asset to the forum and the site.

Thanks for the consideration.

Scott

Mods... you really need to consider something if ScottMac supports it (no, i'm not his bitch ;p ).

In elevating this guy to elite status you realize his worth. He has shown a great of respect for those that he's mentioned. Considering, he's probably the most knowlegable person who frequents the Networking sub-forum, you really should take heed to his recommendation.
