Tall people

Seeing the pants size thread finally reminded me to post this. I'm 6'5" and it's hard to find clothes that fit. Until someone comes up with a Big or Tall store, unless I gain 200 pounds I think I'm outta luck. It seems that each generation gets taller, but it's still hard to find things that fit.

Where do you guys shop?

I'm 6'2'' and sometimes it gets annoying finding a good pair of pants so I can imagine how you 6'3''+ people must feel 😱

I'm 6'4" (and a half), and I am able to wear 34" length quite comfortably. My waist has grown from a 34" a couple of years ago to the 38" I wear now, so it's getting a bit harder to find good pants now.

yeah. I've noticed that its big and tall, not big or tall. I'm "only" 6'4" and I get my 36" length pants on the internet. Kohl's, JC penney, etc, normally carry 36 length on their websites.

Buying those sizes on the internet might be a good idea (fortunately for me, I fall into the 30-32 x 32 range of pants sizes), but I would like to be able to try things on before purchasing.

I am 6'5", but I have really long legs and I only weigh in around 175. I wear a 34" waist and a 36" length, and I often find it hard to find that combination in jeans that fit properly. I have to like go in every single store in the mall to get one outfit. My main complaint is finding shirts that are long enough. If you buy like a XXL they just get wider instead of longer. Most stores here don't carry XLT sized shirts.

Another thing I just thought about with pants: Whenever I look, I alwyas notice that there always seems to be a great increase in waste size with pant length, as if there is no such thing as a skinny, tall person.

I always have a hard time finding shirts that are tall enough, I can wear a size 36/38 with 30 leg but I need a shirt that's tall.. and the only places I found with them that doesn't charge an arm and a leg is JCPenny

I'm a woman and can never find casual pants that are quite long enough. Small/medium fits in the waist/hips but they are usuaslly too short.

What is your inseam?
I'm 6'5" and generally do not have a problem finding pants with 36" inseam and a long rise. For shirts I wear XLarge Talls. I generally buy alot at Eddie Bauer, but I need to replace a bunch of stuff soon.

I get my clothes from the bottom shelf. For some reason stores put the smaller sizes on the top shelf and the larger sizes at the bottom. Kind of dumb.

I'm 6'4" and we buy all my shirts stuff at Dillards big and tall dept. They have XLT and 2X XLT the "T" being tall. Course suits I have tailored since nothing fits right anyway. Pants is no problem since I wear 34Lx36W which is avail in every brand even in regular department. Don't go to big and tall stores - there they really mean fat.
