If my birthday was early in the draft but late enough to not be in the first few groups called, I'd probably enlist so that I could at least do something I wanted to do.
 
Not going to happen unless we somehow get suckered into an all out war with NK. Even then, I'm fairly confident that our airforce would be able to make short work of their million man army. When they cluster together, it'd be a field day for our bombers. Of course, I don't know much about the NK airforce. I'd guess that we'd make extremely short work of them, but I could be wrong. Now Iraq, no way we get drafted. Even if that war is 10x worse than Desert Storm, our losses still will be minimal enough to stave off a draft.
 
Doesn't matter since it won't happen due to lack of support by the people. I know I wouldn't support it.
 
Actually, they mention how our leaders would be less likely to push for war and more likely to push for peace if their children were the ones that would be put in harm's way. I kinda agree with that.
