I am unfamiliar with his radio show or anything else he's done. The only thing I've heard is that he released the name of Kobe Bryant's accuser, which is, frankly, just f%$#ed up. There's a reason why their names are kept out of the public view, and regardless of whether they're telling the truth or not it's up to the courts to decide that. Giving the public the opportunity to harrass(sp?) a potential rape victim is just wrong, legally and morally.

Just so you know, I'm very unconvinced that Kobe did it. The whole thing smells funny.

No pity for some of the sh1t he says. He talks bluntly, but he says a lot of things that he shouldn't, such as the information that was noted in the article.

ARGHH!! I hate how they don't even tell you what you have wrong in your post anymore. At least before you'd know what to fix.

He has a history of that sort of thing -- he released the name of the person who jumped off the Ship Canal Bridge in Seattle three years ago (who had held up traffic for an hour or two before jumping) as well as the name of the kid that Mary Kay Letourneau had sex with (and was convicted of statutory rape for).

He's one of the biggest cowards that allow to talk on the radio, he has some points, but if you disagree with him and tend to be winning the argument, he'll just mute you, state his point and hang up on you. What a douche.

The article didn't say anything about loss of consciousness. Also, anyone who can stretch worth a damn or almost do the splits can kick someone else in the head. It's really not that hard. And, if you know where the four knock-out zones are on the head, it's not hard to do.

A woman who gets raped doesn't brag about having sex just before and just after being raped, shortly after the "rape" happened. She didn't get raped. She just wanted to bone Kobe and now wants to get his money.

Name one single out-spoken radio talk show host that doesn't do that and I'll give you a cookie.

While I respect his right to free speech, that right comes with responsibility, a responsibility that he frequently casts aside for ratings. You can only do that for so long before someone gets angry.

It's a shame. Getting beaten for speaking the truth.

I agree, he is a radio talk show host. If you dont like it then dont listen to it, much less call in. All you people saying he is getting what he deserves are ignorant.

Perhaps you didn't read my post past the second sentance. I agree, the whole thing is fishy. Her behavior is very suspicious. But regardless of what you or I think of her it's up to the judge to determine if she's full of s%$#, and until such time as he makes a decision she deserves the full protections that the law afford her. Why? 'cause the judicial system is founded on the theory of "innocent until proven guilty." And if she is denied those protections it means that any alleged rape victim can be denied those protections, including those who aren't making it up.

Releasing her name did nothing useful. The only thing that came of it is widespread harrassment by the "informed" (read: stupid) public. There is no possible justification for what he did. The public didn't need to know, has no right to know, and did nothing useful with the knowledge.

i agree...but...considering the sort of smack he talks on the radio, i wouldnt be surprised if we arnt getting the entire story from him. not that i think he deserves to get beaten but, as i stated before, im surprised it hadnt happened before now.

That's BS, if the "victim" gets to have their name withheld the accused should too. Having a rape charge brought against you, then aired on TV would RUIN you. And if you were found innocent who would give a fvck? You would still be guilty to too many people.

I agree. It's one of the aspects in which our judicial system is severely lacking. But two wrongs don't make a right. I'd rather preserve what little bit of protections that are in place now than do away with them all in the name of "equality".

Everyone who has ever told me "you need to listen to Lykis" has been divorced at least twice. Seriously.

Yeah, let's just keep the whole "separate but equal" thing going.
