Personally, I rarely listen to music on the radio. If I want to listen to music, I fire up my MP3's or pop in a CD.

The talk radio shows I listen to are:
  • The Dan Patrick Show
  • The Radio Factor (Bill O'Reilly)
  • Lars Larson (local politics, conservative)
  • Dr Laura
  • Jim Rome (sometimes)
  • The Troubleshooter Tom Martino
  • Handel on the Law (Laywer Bill Handel)

The Troubleshooter Tom Martino.

Some Phil Hendrie (I enjoy his rants).

Coast to Coast with George Norrey.

Laura Ingram and a bunch of locals, they keep me well informed of the nonsense that is going on in the Houston area, as well as the state of Texas. I listen to Laura because she's a riot and interviews guests well.

Phil Hendrie is the only talk radio I listen to. It's the best show on radio.

When I lived down in Texas, I used to listen to Russ Martin all the time. Some of the funniest stuff ever!

I used to listen to Tom Leykis... But it's just the same thing, day after day, anymore.

Never listened to Phil Hendrie, I'll have to check him out!

Talk of the Nation (NPR)
On the Media (NPR)
Sound Money (NPR)
The Savvy Traveler (NPR)
The Motley Fool Radio Show (NPR)
BBC World Service (Late nights on local NPR affiliate)
Counter Spin (Pacifica) <-- That's liberal media. NPR has nothing on Pacifica. If you want to poke fun at me, talk about Pacifica, not NPR!!!
Garage Logic (Local on KSTP AM 1500)
Loveline (Westwood One)
Coast to Coast AM, when it's not too wacko. ("Call the I'm an Alien line, 1-800-555-0001, call the I've been abducted line, 1-800-555-0002," etc., that's wacko!)
Some other smart guy who seems to give good advice about money and life, but I can't remember his name. EDIT: It's Clark Howard.
I also listen to Dr. Joy Browne sometimes.

NOTE: I never call Loveline or Joy Browne for advice!!! It's just good entertainment, kind of like Jerry Springer.

You're lucky. You get it live. I get a one day delay, and Clearchannel adds 6-7 minutes of extra commercials per show, so it's M-F, 10:57 to 1:03 for me. Recockulous, I tell you!

Clearchannel sucks. If I wanted to, I could drive from here to my parents house.... I'd have to listen to three different stations along the way, but I could lsiten to the whole show, live, and none of the three stations are clearchannel stations :)

I usually don't listen to the show when I'm around here because I'm too lazy to change stations. It's not on the station I ususlally lsiten to in Sacramento, it's on some pop/alt rock station.
