Talk me into or out of this Jeep

agreed, I wouldn't bother for this reason

if it was AWD it'd be a different story

Now that I am away from the dealer and took a nap. I would get it if it was 4 x4. As a previous thread I started this winter has been horrible.

My back/arms are getting weak and shoveling is a pain this year. The few times I got stuck in my VW Passat making me lean towards a 4 x4 regardless of payments.

My Mom keeps say "remember when you were stuck in your car for 15+ hours?" Stop being cheap you cannot take the money with you. :awe:

If you live in snow country get something with AWD. I've had and loved several FWD cars, but getting stuck always put worry in my mind. With a real AWD system such as Jeep or Subaru, I rarely even consider the possibility of getting stuck somewhere. Even my 05 Lexus RX has a relatively good AWD system, and it just gives you the lack of worry heading up a slick hill. To me, I would seldom consider a FWD/RWD car unless I had an AWD backup car. I drove a FWD for the past 5-10 years, but on some days I just was a bit more worried than I was with more capable vehicles.

Kinda hung up with getting the large touch screen. Silly I know but roomate's 2014 Camry with a touchscreen has me really wanting a touchscreen in next car/SUV/etc.

The heated steering wheel/heated seats were also pretty slick. Guess I need to save my penny's for what I want.

I've got the large screen in my Grand Cherokee. It's nice to have a large display, but the touch part of it isn't something I use much unless I have to. If there's a button that does the same thing as the touchscreen, I always use the button (or knob)

It's $21k, but by the time you're done owning the car, it'll cost a lot more than that as supposed to owning something more reliable.

Jeep has always been and will always be, garbage.

I've had a few Jeeps in the past I liked, we had two Cherokees years back with 4.0s, the wife is still driving one and shooting for 200K.

Well, she's still driving the old Sport.

The one she had was a base 4.0, and had over 150 K on it when sold I believe.

I just personally wouldn't buy that one.
