As I was leaving work this evening, I walked to my car, opened the door, placed my face for my Alpine deck on top of my car as I was loading my bag in the back, and.... drove away.

AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!

The face for my deck is now AWOL, I looked all over for it, and can't find it. Can the face be replaced? I figure they won't sell them because if someone was to steal the rest of the unit, the first thing they would do is order a new face.

I feel soooooooooooooooo stupid. :|

I had an 8 in the morning class in elementary surveying that I skipped a lot because it was "easy". So, by the end of the semester, I was only getting a 'C'. The professor had a policy that if you were happy with the grade you were getting already, you could just keep it and skip the final exam.

So, to his face in his office I told him: "A 'C' is pretty good considering how little effort I put into this class." He actually banished me from his office as if he was casting out a demon(!). He pointed toward the door and said, "Begone from my sight!". I think he smiled.

So I skipped the final, content with my 'C'. When I got the report card he had given me a 'D' and I had to take the class again. Doh!

My stupid move of the week was to put all of my logins, passwords, and serials, etc. into a file (5 pgs.), and then I encrypted the file, and then forgot the password to unlock the encryption.

I was wearing these long silk pants that were very light-weight. Of course, they had no belt, only a string that you could tie. Well, I was in the middle of the lobby walking confidently toward the information desk (where the person I was meeting was) and I felt a very strange sensation. I suddenly realized that my pants had fallen off and had slid down to my ankles! I immediately grabbed them, oulled them up and ran to the bathroom. I still had to come back out and meet the guy, so that was hard. No one there said anything, but I'm sure SOMEONE had to have seen it!

Translation: I got a killer deal from my buddy at school on a hot Alpine deck, fresh stock from last night. Only problem is it came without the face. Anyone know where I can find one?

A friend of mine was trying to get some artic silver on his heatsink. This was a new tube and he's never used ASII before. So, he gets mad after using just a little bit of pressure and just pushes. A big squirt comes out and lands all over his brand new abit kg7-raid and 2 256 sticks of crucial. Damn punk is loaded. Was pissed and then turned around to his laptop and ordered a Tyan Tiger K7, 2 Athlon MP 1.2GHz, and a 512 stick of crucial.
