sure you can argue that the editorial's opinion may not represent Fox, except that they put it smack dab on their front page.

i guess the author doesn't realize we've had the hottest summer (two in a row) followed by the coldest winter on record resulting in skyrocketing energy costs both those times. (and killed 10,000 in france)

hey, if we all work hard enough, we can turn this planet into Mars!!
(that way we won't have to spend billions of dollars to send manned missions there...)

well obviously as more right wing propaganda comes in they'll rotate it. currently they have it on their page twice. right in the middle and again at the bottom. atleast the second link says "Views"

Coldest winter? You sure?

Oh, and it was Europe who had an overly warm summer in 2003. And 2002 was the 3rd hottest summer(June-August) on record here in the US.

Is that article a joke or is the guy serious?
I thought the fact that global warming is partly caused by mankind had been accepted even in the US? I know some oil companies where lobbying aginst the idea about ten years ago but I thought they had given up,

AFAIK no one is seriously doubting it any longer in the rest of the world (even oil companies have started to invest in alternative energy sources),

Some people think we didn't land on the moon. Some people around here think homosexuals can become straight with the blink of an eye. Alot of people like to keep their head in the sand.

I think it's a stupid point of view, but that doesn't make it invalid or biased. Just like I think it was stupid when a whole bunch of people got bent out of shape with "The Passion." Them saying it would lead to anti-semitic violence didn't mean those who claimed that were biased against Catholics. Needless to say, there hasn't been a rash of people burning down synagogues after watching it (or even a single incident for that matter), so that seems to be reasonable grounds to say their criticisms were full of sh!t. Ditto that for complaining about this movie on such a lame premise.

funey truth

I was watching a bbc documentary called wild weather and something interesting cameup, we have an effect on the weather, on weekends its alot more likely to rain then on the week days. The exhaust from cars slowly rises to the sky on the week days and on the weekends the particles create rain, its a 7 day cycle.

It has also been shown that jet contrails effect the weather (not climate) as well. Most people don't account for all this other stuff and just jump right to the Global Warming conclusion. There are probably 500 different (major) factors that contribute to what they weather will be like on any given day. Yet, if we have a hot summer everyone starts claiming global warming.

People should go back to school and learn that one effect can have many causes.

NO! It has NOT been proven that man is a contributing factor in Global Warming. Anyone who tell you it has been proven is an ignorant person spewing propeganda.
