considering it's highly likely that that advertisement has continued to appear for as long as they've been using adsense; yes.
 
I suppose its moreso a protection of investment. This way you click on AT's ads, and not links within threads... Then they're not losing revenue through user links...

Now that's a much more blatant double standard. But to be fair, where they get their money and how their forums act is completely up to them.
