Well I got the whole concert experience. Frist it took about 30 minutes to get the last 5 miles to the stadium. Then we had to wait in a line of what I would estimate to be 7500 people (everyone had to get patted down for weapons, bottles, etc.). While they were switching sets between Godsmack (most of which I missed) and Metallica I got to see two chicks making out and everyone yelling "Girls Gone Wild!", at which point they showed their boobies. So then Metallica takes the stage and things are going nuts. I'm about 5 rows from the front (it was a cool round stage that slowly rotated so the drum set took about 2 hours to go all the way around. Of course there were some pretty small but nasty pits going on right behind me and by the third song things got pretty wild and a huge fight broke out behind me. I saw one guy gushing blood from his head, another with what looked to be a broken nose. After that things were a lot more calm.....relatively speaking. They put on a great show playing stuff from Kill em All to St.Anger. The crowd got into the stuff from Black and older as opposed to Load and newer but I liked most of the stuff they did. We then proceeded to take 30+ minutes to get out of the parking lot at which point I bought a shirt from a guy along the street for $10. They estimated 14,000 people there.
