Looks like it... I don't like the sound of the Taliban's threat of revenge "by other means" at all, though

<< Abdul Hai Mutamaen, the Taliban's chief spokesman, warned of revenge if the U.S. attacked. ``We will take revenge if America attacks through different means,'' he told reporters without elaborating. >>

WTF does "through different means" mean? Are they threatening terrorism??
WTF? they need to be bombed back to the stoneage.

Emphasis added by me

I see two things that need to be carried out to perfection

1) Make DAMN sure we are redecorating the landscape of the right country
2) Once we do identify a group/country/ect, then make DAMN sure that there are no survivors to retaliate

They are scared sh!tless. They have been in a civil war with teh Northern Alliance since the Soviets pulled out. This could very well topple the government. I don't know exactly how hard lined the northern alliance is, but I am sure they are at least somewht pro U.S.

They should have been turned to mush a long time ago. Whats the difference now? They just know we're coming and we're not holding party gifts.

Well, I can say with some certainty that this will most likely seal their fate........

Well It appears that different means have already been used against us. All that did was really piss us off. If they think that is a good idea to do again than we really need to eliminate their defective genes from the global gene pool. We must endeavor to destroy murderous stupidity wherever we find it.

Sorry, can't do that. They already are there ;). They have so far banned television, the internet and computers (and god knows what else).

I don't know what means they plan to use, and calling up the 1 billion muslums to come to their aid is pure folly. But if that is what we are fighting, so be it. Kabul will fall. They have already evacuated the city. Pakistan, watch your backside. And If Saddam is listening, You better find a hole to crawl into, Junior is coming and its time to finish the job.

I wonder if they didn't get the message, this is war against terrorism and the countries that support it. We have united in our spirit and body to wage a protracted war until this behavior is erradicated from the face of the earth.

Our way of life and the way for all freedom loving nations has come under attack. We will even the score and prevail in victory. Make no mistake, this is our lot in life, and those who would want to take it away will be fodder for our cannon.

My belief, which is supported more and more everyday as evidence mounts against him, that Osama Bin Laden is the ultimate culprit behind these attacks. I believe him, and his band of merry men are going to find it hard to enjoy the fruits of their labor. They've just kicked one of the largest kids in the playground. One who has been slapped, kicked and made fun of for most of its existence and yet has only struck back when truely hurt. September 11th 2001, we were hurt. But we are by no means divided, dying or dead. We will strike back, as will they, but unfortuneatly for them, they believe we are going to act in a certain pattern for which we have done previously, when attacked on foreign ground. What they fail to realize is that we as a nation are now more united than any other time, I have been alive to remember. We will prevail, though it may cost more lives before we're through, we will prevail. We must, there is no other way.

The Taliban is also mad nervous that while they're being pounded by NATO weapons from the West, the dissidents in the North will start to gain ground towards Kabul after some 5 years of standoff.

That speaks volumes--the Taliban would be forced to fight on two fronts, one of which would require tremendous resources to defend. That also gives the US double-reason to want to go in there--obliterate the Taliban and pave the way for the prior moderate government to come back to power. A victory for the US ego and an even sweeter victory for proponents of human rights the world over...

What, if anything, have we done to halt immigration of these people since Tuesday? Also, there could be scores of them living among us. All it takes is one of them to have the ability to develop or acquire a chemical or biological weapon to cause a catastrophe worse than what happened Tuesday.
