The United Nations refugee agency, UNHCR, is withdrawing its workers from southern and eastern Afghanistan.
The announcement follows the killing of a 29-year-old French UNHCR employee, Bettina Goislard, in the eastern town of Ghazni on Sunday.

your usual clueless rantings. your fingers never tire punching out the same spewage time and again.
afganistan has a new constitution. presidential and parliamentary elections are likely next year - and you're routing for
the cockroaches. very apropos. now crawl back under your rock, with the cockroaches.
So is LBBI shocked by the murder? Distressed by the terrorism? Nope, he wants to make a political point:Originally posted by: Tripleshot

Show us your clues, or you can slither on your slimy belly into the crevice of the horses ass you crawled out of. :| The artical is about the Taliban not stamped out, but threatening and carrying out acts of terrorism. They killed a women because she was Christian. You are the most clueless of anyone on this board. Take a hike, moron.
"Hey look it's our fault! There weren't any murdering terrorists in afghanistan until we came along! Just a bunch of peaceful opium farmers and some guys with some odd religious beliefs...Why does it take more than 2 years to establish a democracy, why we only took about 100 years and fought 2 wars on our own soil, we should have it down pat!"Our first adventure in promoting democracy?
I never said that. The point was that all this talk about a constitution and elections is moot without security. What's the point of having a democracy respected only within the wall's of the presidential palace in Kabul? We are spread too thin b/c of Iraq and in such are doing a pisspoor job in both places. Am I shoked about the murders? No, b/c unlike you I don't live in this fantasy world where we have done an amazing job in brining peace and democracy in previously barbarous nations. I beleive that our intervention in Afghanistan was warranted and justified. But we made promises and we have commitments that we are not doing a very good job about honoring. We should have fixed Afghanistan completely before embarking on any other pointless adventure.Originally posted by: alchemize
