I say let him have his trial in an islamic country.

He'll get a swift conviction, & a public beheading.

Beats the hell out of him spending the next 10 years in court here, & maybe lethal injection after that.

good points. although i'd prefer to keep him alive and torture him for the next 50 years, he needs to be killed. otherwise, his ppl will certainly take some innocent people hostage or create more havoc. with him dead, although he may become a martyr, ppl won't kill to get him freed.

No trial in Islamic country. We will want to inflict our own punishment. His most recent crime has been against USA and that is where he should be tried....and most likely executed, as well as others of his ilk. :|

Its never going to happen. bin Laden would prefer a protracted attack that would season his fighters and inflict enemy casualties. This is propaganda and misinformation. Afghanistan's taliban government is most deffinatly tageted too. Even if they gave up Osama, we will still go into Afghanistan and rid those people of this evil form of government. Then over to Pakistan to root out the terrorists there. That will keep Pakistan clean.

Hmmmm. Clean. Like a norton Anti virus innoculate program. Just a thought.

Wait... think about it! The Islamic courts do not condone this sort of thing. If he is tried in an Islamic court, he WILL be found guilty. Then, after the public beheading, there's a good chance that the rest of his network will say, "hey, maybe what we're doing really IS wrong!".

So, I think putting Bin Laden on trial before the US makes any attacks is a good idea. Hopefully the US/NATO can work it so a fair judge/tribunal/whatever handles the trial. Having a corrupt man presiding could be quite a problem.

Anyway, after the beheading... the organization will become weaker. Some people might drop out or attack other members of the group. This would be a good time for the US to step in and wipe the rest out.

But yeah, I think putting him on trial in an Islamic court is the best thing we could do to Bin Laden.

Yeah.....try him in an Islamic court...the Koran doesn't approve of violence against innocent civilians.....so I assume he'll definitely be found guilty. Plus, we need to have some Islamic nations on our side....can't turn this into a Holy War...

Best thing that could happen is for Mr. Laden to miraceoulsy keel over dead out in the middle of the desert and become buzard food. Bringing him back over the the U.S. would be a monumental mistake.

Every suicide bomber with a backpack full of explosives and wild hair up their ass will be hitting as populated targets as possible until Bin Laden is either released or killed.
